Las vegas gay bars downtown

The BackDoor is a gay club in downtown Las Vegas. Though it is a little bit off the thrashed path, The BackDoor is one of the only Las Vegas gay bars catering to the Latin population.

The DJ plays Latin harmony each night, and every Thursday, they have comedic queenly performances along with drink specials. They also offer bottle service, and patrons rave about the fun atmosphere. Discover The BackDoor on Charleston Blvd.

The Garden Las Vegas

The Garden Las Vegas, located in the heart of the Arts District, is top known for its bottomless drag brunch every Saturday and Sunday, but every day of the week is a party at The Garden. They are always bringing in guest DJs, fresh drag shows, and coming up with outrageous drinks!

You hold to try their giant shareable cocktails like Flamin-Hoe, which tastes like a Strawberry Starburst and is served in a big, shiny flamingo. There is a reason The Garden was voted the best queer bar in Las Vegas!

Flex Cocktail Lounge

Flex Cocktail Lounge was once one of the hottest male lover bars in Las Vegas, but as of 2022, they are on a sabbatical, looking for a new location in Sin Capital. We’ll update you when they re-open!

Gay bars have served an important role in the LGBTQ community.

“Gay bars hold become a staple in our community… Gay bars are still safe havens for our collective to participate in community, a place we can openly be ourselves without fear of ridicule or sex/gender based violence,” said AJ Huth, the director of public affairs for The Center, a community center that serves the LGBTQ community.

“Gay bars were the imaginative meeting place for the gay group. In early days, many LGBTQ people had to conceal who they were and gay bars became a place to gather, discover friends and lovers, and be themselves,” he add.

Phoenix Bar and Lounge, a locally owned gay bar located down the avenue from Palace Station. The Phoenix proposals karaoke, pool and drag shows.
