If you can believe it, I just figured this out using my brain, and a cursory amount of internet research to detect out where this recasting rumor came from. Basically: I Googled it for you.
So why do people think Frenchie is entity recast on The Boys Season 5? Well, in today’s episode of “the internet just realizing things,” everyone suddenly figured out that Capone is Israeli. And like most Israelis, was a member of the Israeli Defense Oblige (IDF). I want to be very clear here before we go further: this is a comic book website, so I’m not going to weigh into the very thorny politics of Israel and the Middle East. However, in Israel, nearly everyone is conscripted into the military when they reach of age. So yes, Capone joined the IDF in 2004.
