The act of driving around and going on a road you've never been on. Perhaps getting lost intentionally. Getting lost in the roads and not caring if you ever find your way back home. You're just out there looking for something but nothing at the same period. Turn off your smartphone, turn up the harmony and cruise.

A phrase used to describe feelings of joy and excitement. The term refers to Tom Cruises' appearance on the Oprah show in which he could not control his excitement and joy of having his new girlfriend and existence in love.

A person who "cruises" is usually checking out someone they may already be interested in, or roaming the clubs and other venues looking for someone, usually for anonymous sex, or possibly even drugs. If accompanied by a crew, a cruise may involve hours of mindless party hopping while under the influence.

Sometimes, having sex in the safe confines of your bedroom just doesn’t cut it. You may be looking for somewhere new, seeking thrill or adventure, or just not be proficient to have the sex you want within your four walls. You may have heard someone talk about cruising, or own been asked if you wish to go, but what does it actually mean?
Let’s have a look together at what it means, the laws, and general safety if you do settle to give it a go.
Definition
Cruising is walking or driving about certain areas, called cruising grounds, looking for a sexual boyfriend . These meetings are usually one-off, anonymous encounters.
Cottaging is a word used to describe anonymous sex meetings in public toilets.

What comes to my thought is “iskeminen”, a name of deed derived from the verb “iskeä”, which means primarily “to hit, to strike”, but also getting a sex match. It is normally resultative in such a meaning, i.e. expresses successful operation, so it’s really not about searching. But we could say “Lähdetään iskemään tyttöjä” to express “Let’s go searching for girls (with sexual intentions of some kind)”.

I’m not sure I fully understand the essence, but it seems that there is no direct counterpart in Finnish. The example sentence c
