Trump you dont look gay

Donald Trump held an event in Mar-a-Lago and he addressed a group of gay people who support him. Trump said during the event, “where’s gays for Trump?” When some in the group identified themselves, he quipped “you don’t look gay,” which prompted many in attendance to laugh. Trump went on to brag about how he “did great with the gay population.” The former president generally doesn’t hold a grasp on comedy, so he could have made this remark genuinely thinking that queer people are expected to look a certain way. Gays for Trump founder Peter Boykin said about this that members of his group “probably wouldn’t ‘look gay’ because it’s a stereotype that fits more with the standard ‘look’ of leftist LGBT.” He went on to express Gays for Trump is a “nationwide movement full of various types of gays and the gay community has a lot of diversity—the difference is the Gays for Trump lean right.” It seemed as though those in attendance were not offended by Trump’s remark and mostly just found it funny.
